KALLPA (PRONOUNCED KAI-PA) IS A TERM FROM ANCIENT INCA CULTURE THAT SIGNIFIES VITAL ENERGY OR LIFE FORCE.
IT EMBODIES STRENGTH, POWER, AND THE ESSENTIAL VITALITY PRESENT IN ALL LIVING THINGS AND NATURAL ELEMENTS, ESSENTIAL FOR BOTH PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL BEING.
KALLPA IS ASSOCIATED WTIH FERTILITY, HEALTH, AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING, REFLECTING THE INTERCONNECTEDNESS OF LIFE AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN INCA BELIEF. IN INCA CULTURE KALLPA PLAYED A CENTRAL ROLE IN AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES, RITUALS, AND COMMUNITY LIFE EMPHASIZING THE IMPORTANCE OF HARMONY WITH NATURE.

LOUIS MISSOURI, THAT NOT ONLY HELPS FEED THOSE SUFFERING FROM FOOD INSECURITY, BUT SOURCES FROM LOCAL REGENERATIVE FARMERS TO ENSURE QUALITY NUTRITIOUS FOOD SOURCED FROM SUSTAINABLE FARMING PRACTICES.
OUR FOUNDER
Movement and food have always been part of who I am. I grew up playing every sport I could and cooking traditional Peruvian meals with my grandma — I loved how food and movement brought people together. But like a lot of girls, things shifted in high school. I got caught up in diet culture and completely lost touch with my body. I went through years of yo-yo dieting, drastic weight changes, and never really feeling at home in myself.
Basketball was the one thing that kept me grounded. But when I got to college and no longer had that structure or team, I felt completely lost. I tried running every day, mixing in random workouts from TikTok, and eating salads at the dining hall — but no matter what I did, I felt more inflamed, more tired, and more out of sync with myself. It was beyond frustrating. What I didn’t realize then was that my nervous system was shot. My hormones were imbalanced, my circadian rhythm was off, and my body was just trying to survive.
I went down every rabbit hole trying to “fix” it. HIIT, powerlifting, walking, Pilates, keto, vegan, paleo, carnivore, low-cortisol living, strict calorie tracking — I tried everything. And none of it stuck, because none of it was made for me. Eventually, I stopped obsessing and started listening. I paid attention to how different foods, workouts, and sleep patterns made me feel. I rebuilt trust with my body — and through that process, I found balance, confidence, and clarity.
When I started working with other women as a trainer and coach, I saw the same thing again and again: smart, powerful women who felt completely disconnected from their bodies and confused by all the wellness noise out there. And that’s not their fault — the system profits off our confusion. The healthcare system profits off of us being sick, the food industry profits off of our addiction to ultra-processed foods, and the fitness industry profits off of our insecurities.
That’s why I created Kallpa — to be the anti-hustle, anti-confusion, anti-perfection space we all deserve. A place where you can finally come back to your body, build strength from the inside out, and learn what actually works for you — in a way that’s sustainable and empowering, not exhausting.
